The development comes after Roma also requested information about Martinelli, but Galatasaray have now taken a significant step by making a formal bid.

According to Eleonora Trotta, the Turkish club are leading the race for the Brazilian after showing concrete interest in a potential move.
Roma have also requested information about Martinelli, but there is currently no indication that the Giallorossi have advanced negotiations with Arsenal or the player.
Martinelli has emerged as one of several attacking profiles linked with Roma as sporting director Tony D’Amico looks to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s options on the left side of the attack. For now, however, Galatasaray appear to be ahead in the race for the 25-year-old.
