Roma’s pursuit of Destiny Udogie is becoming increasingly complicated with Tottenham reportedly rejecting the Giallorossi’s opening proposal for the Italian wing-back.
According to Il Corriere della Sera, Roma proposed a loan with an option to buy, but Tottenham are not convinced by the structure and have turned down the offer. Udogie was considered untouchable only a few weeks ago, but the door to a departure has since opened if the right proposal arrives.
Another complication is Inter’s pursuit of Djed Spence. The Nerazzurri are now close to signing the Tottenham wing-back, which could make Spurs considerably more reluctant to allow Udogie to leave during the same transfer window.
