Roma are still working to add a left-sided wing-back, with Destiny Udogie currently considered the leading option.
According to Il Tempo and Lorenzo Pes, Udogie is in pole position, although Roma’s preferred loan formula has not yet convinced Tottenham.
The alternative remains Alessio Cacciamani, but the distance with Torino is still significant. The biggest obstacle is reportedly president Urbano Cairo’s reluctance to sell the highly rated youngster.
Roma therefore continue to work on both tracks as Tony D’Amico looks to deliver another wide option for Gian Piero Gasperini before the transfer window closes.
