Seck transfers out of Roma

Roma Primavera defender Mohamed Seck joins Foggia

Mohamed Seck is leaving Roma to continue his career with Foggia as the young defender takes another step into senior football.

Foggia have confirmed the arrival of the 2006-born centre-back through their social media channels ahead of the club’s formal announcement.

Born in Italy and of Senegalese nationality, Seck developed through Roma’s youth system and will now leave Trigoria in search of regular first-team football.

This will not be his first experience at senior level. Seck previously spent time with Pro Vercelli, where he made his professional debut at just 17 years old.

The move to Foggia provides the defender with another opportunity to continue his development outside youth football and establish himself at senior level.

Foggia revealed Seck’s arrival through an unusual social media campaign. A clue regarding the identity of their new signing was hidden somewhere in the city before being discovered by a supporter, revealing Seck as the player ahead of the official club statement.

The move now opens a new chapter for the former Roma Primavera defender as he looks to earn consistent minutes and continue his progression in professional football.
