The proposed deal is structured as a €5 million loan with a conditional €30 million obligation to buy, plus a further €5 million in potential bonuses and a percentage of any future resale.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, if Roma complete deals for both Rodrigo Mora and Malick Fofana, it would become difficult to see Luis Henrique also joining the Giallorossi.

10:52 AM ET — Filippo Biafora: Roma want to sign both Rodrigo Mora and Malick Fofana
According to Filippo Biafora, Roma have been working with Lyon in recent days to sign Malick Fofana in addition to Rodrigo Mora.
The Giallorossi are pushing to receive the green light for Fofana as soon as possible, while Lyon would prefer to keep the Belgian for their upcoming Champions League commitments. Roma’s objective is to sign both Mora and Fofana, while the club also intend to add another wide player to complete Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
Roma have held fresh contacts with Fofana’s representatives and consider the financial demands manageable, with Rodrigo Mora still closest to joining the Giallorossi.
Roma have renewed their interest in Malick Fofana as the club continues working to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Roma have held fresh contacts with Fofana’s entourage in recent hours and the player is keen on the move. The Lyon winger shares the same representatives as Inter’s Luis Henrique, another player on the Giallorossi shortlist.
Roma are already aware of the financial conditions required to pursue Fofana and currently consider the overall cost of the operation manageable.
Rodrigo Mora remains the player closest to joining Roma, with his move from Porto now approaching its final stages. However, the Giallorossi continue to maintain regular contact over Fofana and could potentially add the Belgian even after completing the Mora deal.
Such a scenario would have significant implications for Luis Henrique.
Romano and Moretto report that if Roma were to sign both Mora and Fofana, it would become difficult to imagine Luis Henrique also arriving at Trigoria.
The Brazilian’s situation is therefore currently on standby. Roma continue to evaluate several solutions and could move to close a deal for Luis Henrique if they decide to make him a priority, but there is no agreement with the player at present.
