Luis Henrique has reportedly opened the door to Roma, but Gasperini still prefers Destiny Udogie while Torino continue to demand €20 million for Alessio Cacciamani.
Roma’s transfer window is entering its decisive phase, with the club still working to strengthen the left side of Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad after the departure of Angelino.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Luis Henrique has now opened the door to a move to Roma and is convinced by the possibility of joining the Giallorossi. Tuttosport adds that Premier League clubs are also interested, while Roma are exploring a deal in the €25-30 million range.
However, Fabrizio Romano reports that an agreement on personal terms with the Brazilian is still missing. SportMediaset’s Orazio Accomando adds that fresh contacts between Roma and Inter are expected, with the Giallorossi currently unwilling to go beyond €22 million plus bonuses. Inter are open to a loan, but only with a guaranteed obligation to buy that takes the total package to €28-30 million.
Despite the Luis Henrique talks, Destiny Udogie remains Gasperini’s preferred option for the left flank.
According to La Repubblica, the Tottenham wing-back is still the coach’s first choice. Roma are working to find the right formula with Spurs, while Il Tempo reports that the deal would become more realistic if Tottenham opened to a loan with an option to buy.
The third major name remains Alessio Cacciamani. According to Corriere della Sera, Roma are offering around €15 million, while Torino continue to ask for €20 million.
Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has also made the club’s position clear, insisting that only a significant offer would convince them to sell the youngster.
Roma therefore continue to work on all three fronts, with Luis Henrique, Udogie and Cacciamani representing different options as Tony D’Amico tries to complete Gasperini’s wide options before the transfer window closes.
