The Giallorossi are reportedly exploring previously unreported targets who could arrive through deals carrying limited immediate costs
Gian Piero Gasperini still wants Roma to complete two more signings before the transfer window closes, according to Francesco Casano.
The coach reportedly requested two attacking wingers and two wing-backs following the arrival of Santiago Castro. Roma have completed two of those four additions so far, leaving Gasperini in need of another offensive wide player and an additional option for the flanks.
Sporting director Tony D’Amico is said to be working on profiles whose names have not yet emerged publicly as Roma consider alternatives to their established targets.
The Friedkin ownership has made it clear that any further operations must be structured with limited immediate costs. That could lead Roma to prioritize loans, options to buy or other creative formulas during the final phase of the transfer window.
Roma therefore remain active despite cooling or stalling negotiations for several previously reported targets, with two more additions still considered necessary to complete Gasperini’s squad.
