Negotiations over personal terms remain ongoing, and Martinelli is expected to make his final decision soon.

Simone Inzaghi’s side have placed the Arsenal winger on a three-player shortlist for a new wide attacker

Al-Hilal have placed Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli on a three-player shortlist after completing the signing of former Roma target Crysencio Summerville.

According to Globo Esporte, the Saudi club are continuing to monitor Martinelli as they search for another wide attacker. The 25-year-old has reportedly turned down a €45 million-€50 million move to Galatasaray because he wants to remain in Europe.

Arsenal would consider selling Martinelli if they receive a major offer before the transfer window closes.

Al-Hilal continue ambitious transfer campaign

Summerville had been considered by Roma earlier in the transfer window, but the financial conditions of the operation were not sustainable for the Giallorossi.

Gian Piero Gasperini confirmed that Roma changed some of their targets because of the parameters imposed by UEFA and suggested Summerville’s contract was not affordable at the time.

Al-Hilal ultimately secured the Dutch winger and are now considering another major investment in the same area of the pitch.
