Brighton and Sweden midfielder Yasin Ayari, who is reportedly being monitored by Roma and Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the Swedish international, who is reportedly valued at €40 million–€45 million.

Roma are monitoring Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari as sporting director Tony D’Amico evaluates possible additions to Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 2003-born midfielder has attracted Roma’s attention following his recent performances for Brighton and the Swedish national team.

Ayari’s contractual situation could make him an interesting market opportunity. His Brighton deal expires next year, and the player reportedly has no intention of signing an extension with the Premier League club.

Brighton are nevertheless unwilling to allow him to leave at a reduced price. The English club are said to value Ayari between €40 million and €45 million, a figure that would make an immediate Roma move difficult under the club’s current financial restrictions.

Roma are also facing significant competition. Borussia Dortmund have shown strong interest in the Swedish midfielder and are among several European clubs monitoring his situation.

Ayari remains one of multiple profiles being evaluated by D’Amico as Roma assess whether another opportunity could emerge before the transfer window closes. No negotiations or official offer have been reported at this stage.
