Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui amid transfer interest

Roma prepare to evaluate offers for Neil El Aynaoui

9:50 AM ET — Roma rule out El Aynaoui loan with purchase option

According to Filippo Biafora, Roma are not currently willing to let Neil El Aynaoui leave on loan with an option to buy.

The Giallorossi would only consider the Moroccan midfielder’s departure through a permanent transfer or a loan containing a mandatory purchase clause.

The Giallorossi expect proposals for the Moroccan midfielder as the transfer window enters its closing days.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Roma are preparing to evaluate official offers expected for Neil El Aynaoui in the coming hours.

The club’s management will analyze any proposals before deciding the midfielder’s future. No agreement has been reached, but concrete bids could accelerate discussions over a possible departure before the transfer deadline.

El Aynaoui has recently attracted interest from Crystal Palace and Bayer Leverkusen. The Premier League club reportedly submitted a loan proposal containing an option to buy that could become mandatory under certain conditions.

Roma, however, have been seeking a permanent transfer or a guaranteed purchase obligation worth approximately €30–35 million. Further details about the interested clubs and their proposed terms could emerge once formal offers arrive.

The situation may also influence Roma’s remaining transfer plans. The Giallorossi remain interested in signing Franck Kessié following the collapse of his negotiations with Juventus.

Roma will now assess the financial and sporting value of any incoming proposals before deciding whether to retain El Aynaoui or authorize his departure.
