Benevento have reached an agreement to sign Roma prospect Mattia Mannini, according to Lorenzo Canicchio.
The move will be completed on an initial loan with an option to buy, with the two clubs currently exchanging the necessary documents.
The two clubs are showing interest in the Roma youngster as his future is assessed during the final hours of the transfer window.
Casertana have joined Benevento in expressing interest in Roma prospect Mattia Mannini.
According to Lorenzo Canicchio, Benevento are no longer alone in pursuing the young Giallorossi player, with Casertana also entering the race for his signature.
Roma Assess Mannini’s Future
No details have yet emerged regarding the proposed transfer formula or Roma’s preferred solution for Mannini.
A move could provide the academy product with an opportunity to earn regular senior minutes while continuing his development away from Trigoria.
Roma must now evaluate the interest from both Benevento and Casertana before deciding whether to authorize Mannini’s departure.
