For clubs still searching for solutions, the free agent market remains open — and it contains some significant names. Few are more recognisable than Jadon Sancho, though the Englishman’s next destination now looks set to be far from European football.
A Dubai Offer on the Table
According to The Mirror, the Dubai Arabian Falcons are preparing a concrete offer for Sancho. The club, managed by former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey, have made no secret of their ambitions in recent years, having previously attracted high-profile signings including former Manchester United player Morrison. Sancho would represent another statement arrival — a player who, at his best, is among the most talented wingers of his generation.
Aston Villa Step Back, Serie A Follows
Sancho spent last season at Aston Villa, but the Birmingham club ultimately decided against triggering a permanent deal, leaving the winger back on the market once the window opened. In Italy, both Roma and Fiorentina had shown interest. Roma, in particular, have been searching for a left winger to hand to Gian Piero Gasperini — a profile Sancho could theoretically fit.
However, neither club chose to follow through. Despite the initial interest, both Roma and Fiorentina pulled back from making a formal move, leaving Sancho without a European suitor willing to commit.

With Serie A now closed and England’s top clubs apparently uninterested, the path to Dubai is becoming clearer by the day. It would mark a significant moment in Sancho’s career — a player once valued at over €80 million choosing the Gulf over a return to Europe’s elite competitions.
