Roma Announce Squad for Serie A Clash With Atalanta

Paulo Dybala and Evan Ndicka are included in Gian Piero Gasperini’s matchday squad, while academy striker Antonio Arena will provide another attacking option from the bench.

Roma have announced Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad for tonight’s Serie A match against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.

The match will begin at 8:45 PM local time and 2:45 PM ET, with Roma attempting to preserve their perfect start and secure a third consecutive league victory.

Dybala and Ndicka Included Against Atalanta

Paulo Dybala has been included after completing Roma’s entire final training session with the group on Friday.

The Argentine had experienced muscular fatigue earlier in the week, but the absence of any injury allowed him to return to full training. His inclusion provides Gasperini with a significant boost before the first major test of Roma’s domestic campaign.

Evan Ndicka is also available after recovering from the inflammation that forced him to withdraw shortly before kickoff against Lecce.

Antonio Arena Earns Another Call-Up

Academy striker Antonio Arena has also been selected and is expected to begin the match on the bench.

The youngster will be ready to contribute if Gasperini requires another attacking option during the contest. His inclusion gives Roma five recognized attackers alongside Santiago Castro, Donyell Malen, Matías Soulé and Dybala.

Lorenzo Pellegrini and Devyne Rensch Miss out

Lorenzo Pellegrini and Devyne Rensch have not been included in Roma’s squad to face Atalanta. Both players recently returned to partial training with the group, but tonight’s match arrives too soon for them to feature.

Gasperini will therefore continue to manage their recoveries carefully, with Pellegrini expected to become fully available either against Inter or following the international break.

Roma’s Full Squad to Face Atalanta

Goalkeepers: Mile Svilar, Giorgio De Marzi, Pierluigi Gollini

Defenders: Devyne Rensch, Konstantinos Koulierakis, Evan Ndicka, Nahuel Molina, Mario Hermoso, Gianluca Mancini, Leonardo Balerdi, Wesley, Emanuele Lulli, Daniele Ghilardi

Midfielders: Bryan Cristante, Marten de Roon, Manu Koné, Niccolò Pisilli, Rodrigo Mora

Forwards: Santiago Castro, Donyell Malen, Matías Soulé, Paulo Dybala, Antonio Arena

Roma Pursue Third Consecutive Victory

Roma enter the match with six points after defeating Fiorentina and Lecce in their opening two fixtures. Gasperini’s side have scored eight goals without conceding, with Malen responsible for five of them.

Atalanta have also won both of their opening matches, setting up an early test between two teams with perfect records.
