Jason Morrow is leaving his role as Roma’s chief financial officer and will return to the United States to continue working within the Friedkin Group, according to La Repubblica. The newspaper reports that Roma CEO John Galantic will take over Morrow’s responsibilities.
Morrow arrived at Trigoria in spring 2025 as a trusted financial executive for the club’s owners. His appointment put him in charge of Roma’s finances during a period in which the club had to balance investment in the squad with its financial obligations. He had previously worked for Gulf States Toyota, a Friedkin-owned business in the United States, as La Repubblica reported when he joined Roma.
What Morrow’s departure means for Roma
The reported move does not mean Morrow is leaving the Friedkin organisation. It would, however, change the management structure at Roma: Galantic, appointed CEO this summer, would add Morrow’s financial responsibilities to his existing role.
Roma have not yet issued an official announcement detailing the handover. For now, the timing and precise scope of Galantic’s new duties remain to be confirmed.
