AS Roma have confirmed that Paulo Dybala and Nahuel Molina will not attend the event being held in Argentina around the national team’s match against Benin on October 6.
The club acknowledged the importance of the occasion for both players. Dybala and Molina share a close relationship with Lionel Messi and played alongside him in Argentina’s 2022 World Cup-winning squad.
Roma explained that the decision was made for sporting and logistical reasons. The length of the intercontinental journey and the proximity of the club’s upcoming competitive fixtures were both taken into consideration.
