Como striker Moise Kean ruled out of the Serie A match against Roma

Cesc Fàbregas Confirms Moise Kean Will Miss Como vs Roma

Como will be without Moise Kean for Sunday’s Serie A match against Roma, Cesc Fàbregas has confirmed.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, the Como coach announced that the Italian striker has not recovered from the injury he sustained while representing the national team.

Kean had left Italy’s training camp early after suffering muscular discomfort and subsequently missed the Nations League match against Turkey.

Kean Ruled Out of Roma Match

There had been optimism that Kean could recover in time to face Gian Piero Gasperini’s side at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. However, Fàbregas confirmed that the forward will not be available.

His absence represents a significant attacking blow for Como. Kean provides a physical presence through the middle and offers a direct threat with his pace, movement and ability to attack space behind opposing defenders.

Fàbregas must now choose an alternative to lead Como’s attack against a Roma defence that has made a strong start to the season.

Roma Also Missing Key Players

Roma will travel to Como with injury problems of their own. Mile Svilar has been ruled out for approximately one month after suffering a stress fracture in training, with Pierluigi Gollini set to replace him in goal.

Bryan Cristante and Konstantinos Koulierakis will also miss the match, although Lorenzo Pellegrini has completed his recovery and is available for selection.

Roma will look to resume their Serie A campaign with a victory before hosting Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
