Paulo Dybala in action for Roma

Paulo Dybala Hopes to Finish His Career at Roma: “With Roma, in Rome”

Paulo Dybala has expressed his hope of finishing his career at Roma, reflecting on his connection with Italy and the excitement surrounding the Giallorossi’s return to the Champions League.

Speaking to Prime Video, the Argentine described the impact Italian football has had on his life, while stressing that it is still too early to discuss how his career will end.

Dybala: “I Hope There Can Be an Italian Ending”

“I would never have imagined having a career like this here. This country welcomed me with open arms; the people have helped me grow as a man and as a footballer,” Dybala said.

“There are so many emotions here, happy moments and sad moments, just like in anyone’s life. I hope there can be an Italian ending. Where? In Rome and with Roma. But it is premature to talk about it.”

His comments underline the bond he has developed with the club and the capital. While they do not represent a decision about his future, they offer a clear indication of where he would like the final chapter of his playing career to unfold.

Champions League Return Brings Joy and Pride

Dybala also reflected on the effort behind Roma’s return to the Champions League and the significance of competing on Europe’s biggest stage again.

“We gave everything last season. Returning to the Champions League has brought happiness to us and the fans. Pride, too,” he explained.

“It will be difficult; we are facing some of the most decorated teams in the world, but with the backing of our supporters, we will have something extra.”

With Real Madrid next up at the Olimpico, Dybala’s message captures both the challenge and the excitement of Roma’s European campaign. The Argentine believes the supporters can make a difference as the Giallorossi test themselves against elite opposition.
