Roma Primavera produced an emphatic UEFA Youth League performance at the Stadio Tre Fontane, beating Slovan Bratislava 5–0 thanks to a hat-trick from substitute Paratici.
Camara opened the scoring before Paratici transformed the match after coming off the bench. An outstanding Arena then added the fifth, rounding off a convincing victory on Matchday 3 despite Roma missing several key players.
Camara Breaks the Deadlock
Slovan offered a competitive challenge in the opening stages, with Hofstadter involved in their passing combinations and the visitors threatening through balls played behind Roma’s defence.
Terlizzi and Loreti made important interventions, while Salkovic fired narrowly over in the 26th minute.
Roma gradually found their rhythm, with Forni and Ballarin working in midfield and Arena becoming the focal point of their attacking play. Strong winds complicated deliveries from the flanks, but the breakthrough arrived in the 35th minute.
Arena supplied an incisive pass for Camara, who advanced into the penalty area, slipped between two defenders and beat goalkeeper Balog to give Roma the lead.
Paratici Changes the Game From the Bench
Camara threatened again in the 56th minute, controlling the ball impressively on the run before shooting into the side-netting.
His subsequent replacement proved decisive. Paratici entered as the central striker, allowing Arena to drop into a deeper attacking position and influence the game with his creativity.
After a scramble in Roma’s penalty area prompted protests from the Slovan players, the hosts broke forward. Arena picked out Paratici with a long pass, and the substitute finished to double the advantage.
Roma then took control, with Cama’s set-piece deliveries helping turn a comfortable lead into a commanding one.
In the 79th minute, his corner from the left found Terlizzi. Balog kept out the initial effort, but Paratici reacted to convert the rebound.
Six minutes later, another Cama corner, this time from the right, brought Paratici’s third goal with a decisive header.
Arena Completes the Rout
Arena’s influential performance received its finishing touch in the 87th minute.
Marchetti supplied the ball from the right, and Arena converted from close range to complete the scoring.
The final margin reflected Roma’s dominance after the interval, when their attacking quality and organisation overwhelmed a Slovan side that had made the opening stages competitive.
The victory secures three valuable Youth League points for Roma Primavera, who now turn their attention to Genoa.
