Wesley in action for Roma

Manchester United Linked With January Move for Wesley as Roma Set €50–60m Valuation

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to step up their interest in Wesley ahead of the January transfer window, although Roma are reluctant to lose the Brazilian midway through the season.

According to TEAMtalk, the Giallorossi value the wing-back at €50–60 million, with his performance against Slovan Bratislava adding to the attention surrounding him.

Roma Reluctant to Sell Wesley in January

Wesley has become an important player for Gian Piero Gasperini, and Roma would be unwilling to disrupt their squad by sanctioning a winter departure.

The report places United among his leading admirers, while Arsenal remain interested, with Mikel Arteta described as a long-standing admirer of the Brazilian.

Roma’s contractual position strengthens their hand. Wesley is tied to the club until 2030, leaving the Giallorossi under no immediate pressure to negotiate a sale.

An offer to secure his departure in January would reportedly need to exceed the €50–60 million valuation, making a summer move a more plausible prospect.

Premier League Clubs Monitoring Wesley

United and Arsenal are not the only clubs following the Roma wing-back.

TEAMtalk also names Newcastle among the interested sides, while Tottenham and Liverpool have reportedly compiled scouting reports. Chelsea’s previous interest and attention from Manchester City are also mentioned.

Elsewhere, Atlético Madrid are credited with strong interest, while Inter and Milan are monitoring his development.

For now, the reports concern interest rather than a confirmed agreement or formal offer. Roma’s priority remains keeping an important member of Gasperini’s squad as they compete domestically and in the Champions League.
