Manu Koné in action for Roma

Bayern Munich Linked With January Move for Manu Koné as Roma Resist Sale

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Manu Koné in January, but Roma consider the French midfielder an essential part of Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad and are unwilling to sanction his departure.

According to VoceGiallorossa, the German club are considering a winter approach for Koné. However, the report does not identify a formal offer or ongoing negotiations between the clubs.

Roma Determined to Keep Koné

Bayern’s reported interest follows attention from Chelsea during the summer, with Koné continuing to attract admirers among Europe’s leading clubs.

Roma’s position remains firm: the midfielder is regarded as fundamental to the balance of Gasperini’s team, and losing him midway through the campaign would leave a significant gap.

Only an exceptionally high offer could reportedly prompt the Giallorossi to reconsider. No specific asking price has been disclosed.

Injury Recovery Remains the Immediate Priority

For now, Roma’s focus is on getting Koné back on the pitch.

The Frenchman suffered a grade-one thigh muscle injury against Real Madrid, with the report indicating an absence of approximately three to four weeks.

His recovery therefore takes priority over the transfer speculation. Bayern’s interest remains a reported possibility rather than an active deal, while Roma have no intention of parting with one of their most important midfielders.
