Carlos Forbs playing for Club Brugge

Roma linked with Carlos Forbs as Club Brugge winger attracts Premier League interest

Roma are reportedly monitoring Club Brugge winger Carlos Forbs, with Manchester United and Tottenham also linked with the Portuguese attacker.

According to TransferFeed the Giallorossi have watched the 22-year-old on several occasions as they assess potential additions to Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking options.

However, competition from England and a reported valuation of around €30 million could complicate any potential move.

Roma scouts following Forbs

The report claims Roma’s scouts have been tracking Forbs’ performances and gathering information on his development at Club Brugge.

His pace, ability to beat defenders and attacking versatility are among the qualities highlighted as potentially useful to Gasperini, who would benefit from additional options in the final third.

Among the performances said to have caught the eye was his Champions League display against Inter, during which the Portuguese winger reportedly provided three assists.

Born in 2004, Forbs is the latest young attacker to be linked with Roma as the club considers ways to strengthen its squad.

Manchester United and Tottenham also interested

Roma would face competition if they decided to pursue the winger.

According to the same report, Manchester United and Tottenham are also following Forbs, while clubs from Spain and Germany expressed interest during the summer.

The report does not identify a formal offer or negotiations involving Roma. For now, the Giallorossi’s interest is described as scouting and assessment rather than an advanced transfer operation.

Club Brugge’s reported €30m valuation

The financial demands would represent another significant consideration.

Club Brugge reportedly valued Forbs at approximately €30 million in August, and the report suggests his recent performances are unlikely to have reduced that asking price.

That figure represents a reported valuation rather than an agreed transfer fee. Roma’s monitoring could develop into something more concrete, but any approach would require a substantial investment and a response to interest from other clubs.
