Pierluigi Gollini is a late doubt for Roma’s Champions League clash with Manchester United after developing a back problem.
According to Filippo Biafora, a decision on whether the goalkeeper can play will be made at the last minute, leaving Gian Piero Gasperini waiting on his availability ahead of kick-off at Old Trafford.
Roma face another goalkeeper concern
Gollini has been deputising for the injured Mile Svilar, earning praise from Gasperini for his performances during a busy run of matches.
His possible absence would give Roma another problem to solve on a night when they are already without several important players.
Biafora’s update does not specify the severity of the back issue. For now, Gollini has not been ruled out, with Roma set to assess whether he can take his place in goal.
