Buba Sangaré’s progress at Elche could bring Roma another transfer payment. Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in the Spanish right-back, with Matteo Moretto reporting that the German club have made initial contact with his representatives.
Roma sold Sangaré permanently to Elche for €4.5 million in June, but retained a 20% share of any profit from a future sale, alongside a right of first refusal.
That clause gives the Giallorossi a financial interest in the next move of a player who never made a senior appearance for the club.
Frankfurt make contact over Sangaré
According to Moretto, Eintracht have approached the 2007-born defender’s entourage to explore a possible transfer.
Sangaré joined Roma in the summer of 2024 before moving to Elche on loan last February. His performances in La Liga persuaded the Spanish club to make the deal permanent a few months later.
He has continued to attract attention in Spain, with Frankfurt now assessing whether they can bring him to the Bundesliga.
