Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Roma’s pursuit of Stuttgart winger Jamie Leweling has slowed, with significant obstacles remaining on both sides of the proposed transfer.
Roma currently have no agreement with Stuttgart, while personal terms have not been agreed with Leweling’s representatives. The update follows reports that the Giallorossi had proposed a €5 million paid loan with a conditional €35 million obligation to buy.
The lack of progress leaves Roma facing difficulties with another attacking target after Chelsea continued to resist the club’s attempts to sign Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
Roma are still evaluating alternative options for Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack, including Zenit winger Luiz Henrique. However, no deal for Leweling is currently close.
