The Premier League club have made an official proposal to sign the Roma defender on a season-long loan.
West Ham have submitted an official offer to Roma for Anass Salah-Eddine during the final hours of the transfer window.
According to The Athletic, the Premier League club have proposed signing the 24-year-old on a season-long loan.
Roma Must Decide Salah-Eddine’s Future
The report does not indicate whether the proposed agreement includes an option or obligation to buy. Roma must now decide whether West Ham’s loan offer provides suitable terms for the defender’s departure.
Salah-Eddine has also attracted interest from Monaco this summer, although Roma reportedly preferred a permanent sale rather than another temporary move.
With the transfer deadline approaching, West Ham’s official proposal gives the Giallorossi another decision to make over the composition of Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
