Roma’s estimated squad value has decreased by 1.2% following the summer transfer window, but the Giallorossi remain ahead of Milan, Atalanta and Napoli in the Serie A rankings.
The summer transfer window has only just closed, but its initial financial impact on Roma’s squad can already be assessed.
According to Transfermarkt estimates, the total market value of the Giallorossi squad has fallen from €490.45 million to €484.60 million following the club’s incoming and outgoing business.
That represents a decrease of €5.85 million, or approximately 1.2%.
Roma Retain Fourth Place in Serie A
Despite the slight reduction, Roma still possess the fourth-most valuable squad in Serie A.
The Giallorossi sit behind Inter, Juventus and Como, whose position among the league’s most valuable teams represents the biggest surprise in the ranking.
Roma remain ahead of several major domestic rivals, including Milan, Atalanta and Napoli.
Summer Business Reshapes Gasperini’s Squad
Roma signed six first-team players during the summer as the club worked to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad while reducing its overall wage bill.
Rodrigo Mora, Santiago Castro, Nahuel Molina, Konstantinos Koulierakis, Leonardo Balerdi and Marten de Roon arrived in the capital.

Roma also retained Manu Koné after rejecting Chelsea’s approach but failed to complete the signing of another attacking winger before the deadline.
The club’s work could continue despite the window closing, with Roma reportedly preparing to assess the free-agent market and revisit several targets in January.
Transfermarkt Values Remain Estimates
Transfermarkt valuations should not be considered equivalent to official club valuations or guaranteed transfer fees. They are estimates influenced by factors such as age, performances, contract length, reputation and recent transfer activity.
Nevertheless, the figures offer an indication of Roma’s position relative to their Serie A rivals following the conclusion of the summer market.
Although the value of the squad has decreased slightly, Roma remain among the league’s leading teams in terms of estimated playing assets.
