Roma plan to strengthen their attack in January, with a winger the priority and Endrick still among the options being followed, according to Matteo Moretto.
The Giallorossi remain in contact with the Brazilian’s representatives as he struggles for regular playing time at Real Madrid. José Mourinho’s recent public comments about his future have not ended Roma’s interest.
Endrick remains an option
Playing time remains central to Endrick’s situation. The forward continues to find opportunities limited in Madrid, keeping open the possibility of a winter move.
According to Moretto, Roma are maintaining dialogue with his entourage as they assess how to add to Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking options.
Mourinho has publicly opposed the Brazilian’s departure, but Roma continue to follow developments. Whether Madrid’s position changes as January approaches will be important to the chances of a deal.
A winger tops Roma’s January plans
The broader objective is to bring in an attacking wide player and give Gasperini more choice in the final third.
Injuries to Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini have reduced those options during a demanding run of domestic and European fixtures. January offers Roma an opportunity to strengthen a department that has had to rely heavily on the players available.
Endrick remains part of that search, with contact continuing as Roma prepare for the winter window.
