Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui ahead of his move to RB Leipzig

Financial Details of Neil El Aynaoui’s RB Leipzig Move Revealed

Roma will receive an initial €3 million loan fee, with the agreement containing a €28 million option to buy and a future sell-on clause.

The final financial terms of Neil El Aynaoui’s proposed move from Roma to RB Leipzig have emerged, according to Filippo Biafora.

Leipzig will pay €3 million plus a potential €1 million in bonuses for the initial loan. The Bundesliga club will also hold an option to buy the midfielder for €28 million plus further bonuses.

Roma secure future sell-on percentage

The agreement contains no obligation to buy, meaning Leipzig will decide whether to make El Aynaoui’s transfer permanent.

Roma have also secured between 18% and 20% of any future resale. That clause could provide the Giallorossi with an additional payment if Leipzig purchase the Moroccan and later sell him to another club.

The immediate loan package can reach €4 million, while the purchase option would take the deal’s overall value to at least €32 million before additional bonuses and a potential future resale payment.

Roma previously accepted Leipzig’s offer for El Aynaoui before completing the signing of Marten de Roon to reinforce Gian Piero Gasperini’s midfield.
